STAYING PURE IN A SEX-CRAZED CULTURE – Belinda Elliot from the USA, St. James  and J-I from Nigeria speak bluntly.

You have heard it before, and may be you even signed a pledge card, promising that you would “wait” until you were married, to have sex. Sounds simple enough right? But in today’s culture it is not always as easy as it sounds, unless you follow key steps to live a life of purity (Belinda Elliot speaks her mind).

Purity attracts respect from God and would also attract respect from your future spouse. You can still abide by your pledge, you need to strive at all cost to live a life of purity until marriage – integrity of Joseph in the bible in the face of  seduction from Potiphar’s wife, is a key lesson to every unmarried person. Joseph was lifted, he could have fallen and be thrown to prison for life (J-I speaks emphatically).

Bellinda Elliot continues , in our sex-saturated culture, how do you live a life of purity? There are several key steps St. James says,

• Pay attention on how you dress (be decent in dressing- it attracts respect – J-I)
• Be careful what you watch
• Set limits in relationships and friendships
