Keeping intimate relationship alive requires strength, motivation and a little something called LOVE. We are guilty of basing our romantic beliefs on fairy tales. Keeping your marriage needs effort and commitment from both parties.
If you are willing to put forth the effort to keep your relationship alive, then developing the following habits will help you become one of those highly successful couples – give each other pleasure and not pain/create love and friendship rituals/create a safe space for open and honest sharing/work together to resolve conflict and crisis/turn toward each other rather away …….. WE SHALL BE TAKING THESE HABITS ONE AFTER THE OTHER IN OUR POSTS; NOW LET’S GO!
GIVE EACH OTHER PLEASURE: Your goal in the relationship is to give each other pleasure, not to cause pain. Simple, isn’t it? However, for just a single day, become consciously aware of everything you do, by asking yourself the question, “is what I’m about to do or say going to cause my partner pain or pleasure?” To help you, each of you should make two lists: one for all the things your partner does that hurt you , and another for all that you would like your partner to do to give you pleasure. The last time we were able to introduce this series which we don’t want to rush over. The first sub topic of what husband want from their wives was LOVE AND CARE. Today, we are going to be talking about another subtopic, “FREE PERIOD TO BE ALONE. Remember you were told the last time out that whatever wives want from their husbands should be reciprocal to an extent, they may not be 100% reciprocal.
FREE PERIOD FOR THE HUSBAND TO BE ALONE
This is important but some women disregard this and unknown to them they may be hurting their spouse. It is very advisable for a woman to show understanding to the husband by giving the man some free period to be alone when he shows the signal of doing so. He may be tired due to a hard day’s job or busy with some business work, you need to show him that understanding by telling him to have his time comfortably, let him be the one to call you whenever you observe that he is so busy or tired. This creates a sense of belonging to the man and is a sign of respect from the woman, the relationship becomes stronger and interesting. A woman should not exhibit the “I don’t care attitude to the man,” show some understanding.
