TODAY’S TOPIC TITLED, “IS THIS LOVE?” CONTINUES WITH JI. SERIES 3. FEATURING, DEFINITION OF LOVE, THE LUST AND INFATUATION FACTORS, REASONS FOR BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS AND MANY MORE.

Wow! It has been awesome starting this very relationship and marriage topic titled, “is this love?” I must sincerely appreciate my numerous friends and visitors of this blog across the world, it amazes me to know how far and fast this blog is spreading and reaching almost all the continents of the world – thanks to the search engines. My phones have been beeping with calls and text messages, while my facebook list of friends is increasing by the day as I receive a lot of personal messages and some wall post acknowledging this blog.  A quick reminder yet again; if you have not been following this topic from the scratch, do try and go to the previous posts, this is the third in the series, “Is this love?”

I have been so busy with so many commitments here and there, but I deemed it fit to satisfy you all in updating this eye catching topic for singles and the married. I have been receiving so many commendations, questions and this has given me a sense of commitment to updating this topic even in my very busy schedule which even requires travelling. I actually write by inspiration and not only by religious obligation; that is to answer the very popular questions from my friends and visitors across the globe. Inspiration coupled with research and day to day experience of people brought about this very hot topic titled, is this love?” In my last post, I wrote on the history of lust in correlation with the present day relationships that so many people are involved in. I latter concluded by defining lust and infatuation, as they differ from true love. Today, I will be giving you the true definition of love as against lust and infatuation, reasons for broken relationships as connected to lust and infatuation, and as usual,  food for thought. Now let’s go!

THE INFATUATION AND LUST  FACTORS AS REASONS FOR BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS

There is no doubt that by now you know the meaning of the word, “infatuation”, thanks to the last post. Infatuation as clearly defined is an intense but short-lived and irrational passion for somebody or something. So many synonyms have been used in place of the word, “infatuation”, you talk of obsession, fascination, enchantment, crush, rapture, fixation and so on. What remains is that infatuation is temporal and short-lived, while true love is permanent. So many persons have thrown themselves into this wilderness of infatuation and followed it up to frustration in their relationships. You may want to ask how? Now, get this, when you are infatuated with someone or someone is infatuated with you, and you know it so well, it is strongly advisable that you don’t go beyond the limits in your relationship with that person. Another question that would arise in your mind is, how do I know I am infatuated with someone? Yes the answer is so simple: It is almost absolutely normal for folks of the opposite sex to have a crush at first sight – that is what some persons call love at first sight; be very careful. What so many persons call love at first sight has so terribly dealt a big blow to emotions of many as they end up regretting the aftermath of actions followed up in the so called, “love at first sight.” Can you imagine a man having a crush on any lady he sees so gorgeously dressed at his first sight? Is this love? Of course not. So many persons are into the wrong relationships for this singular reason of lust and infatuation, and such relationships are so fragile and end up in trauma for one of the party or both parties.

INSTANCES OF THE LUST AND INFATUATION FACTORS

I write by instances and reality of what people fall into day after day. Now, consider a situation whereby a well endowed guy meets a girl for the first time and asks her out, probably after a few romantic words, the girl agrees to go home with the guy and any other thing follows up that same day. What do you think about that scenario? What I can figure out there is lust and infatuation. Now get this, true love is nurtured over time, true love is not short-lived. The reason why so many relationships end up breaking is because they were founded on the lust and infatuation factors which is immoral..

Consider another scenario whereby a guy demands for sex with a girl in a relationship of just a month, and upon disagreement, the guy calls off the relationship. What would have become of the girl if she had accepted that demand? Same result of course. Now get me right, any relationship founded on lust and sex life usually ends up breaking, and that is why I keep preaching to friends and people that sex after marriage is honourable and God blesses such homes at will. I am not only sounding religious here, I am actually telling you the truth that would keep your relationship strong before and after marriage.

There are so many cases to consider, and in the course of this series we will elaborate on this complex topic, Is this love? Once again let me emphasize that this series is not for the singles only, but the married as well. For those who already know they are in the wrong relationship, just be patient, because as God would have it, things will get better soon as you follow up this series. More expert hands are on deck to bring about beneficial articles in that regard.

TRUE DEFINITION OF LOVE

Food for thought as we round off today’s post. Lust is when you love what is on the outside while love is when you lust for what is on the inside. Love builds bridges where there are none. Love is a journey and not a destination. Any relationship founded on loving what is on the outside (lust) is bound to break some day. Avoid immorality at all cost, sex before marriage can lead to a broken relationship.
