IS THIS LOVE? SERIES 5 WITH JOSHUA. WRITING ON” LUST TO MARRIAGE.”
From all indication, I can say that this topic has generated a lot of interest worldwide and I am glad people are finding it captivating. You can only expect much better features right here. You can read the so many opinions up there about the question, “can lust become true love? The question has necessitated the topic of discussion today. When I say lust to marriage I believe you understand what I am trying to write on – marriage brought about by lust or driven by lust. Go down for more ……
To lust after what is on the outside differs from lust after what is on the inside. What is on the outside is temporal whether you like it or not; on the other had, what is on the inside is long-lasting and could remain permanent. Now what are the examples of things on the outside – you talk about beauty or handsomeness, sex, influence, power, wealth, and the likes. Things on the inside are expressed, exhibited and usually natural and commonly idiosyncratic; be it gentleness, moral uprightness, patience and many more that are good traits. So when I say lust to marriage, I believe you are getting a vivid picture of the statement now.
Believe (you) me, to lust after things on the outside and eventual marriage is not the best of decisions a person should make in life. Of course you know too well beauty, wealth, influence and the likes have the tendency of fading away someday which could bring about marital problems in the future. What am I trying to say here? It is safer and more guaranteed to marry as a result of lust after things on the inside that are permanent and much more difficult to fade away. This is a food for thought in any case. Don’t get me wrong here, we as humans love wealth and influence, but immediately you place these things above other virtues in a mate, the tendency of being in a marriage that will hit the rock someday can not be ruled out. In fact, I am one of the advocates against marriage out of pity. You don’t marry out of pity or coercion (force), that could culminate in a regrettably lugubrious marital life.
The message here today is clear – lust after the physically unpredictable things in life (things in the outside) in the path to marriage is risky especially when placed above good virtues. And again, lust after sex before marriage is totally risky and should be avoided at all cost. Any friendship, relationship driven by sex is bound to fail someday especially when it gets to marriage, that is the cause of so many marriage infidelity across the globe, believe (you) me. I am not done with this topic, “lust to marriage”, see you for updates soonest in the series, “Is this love?
This topic of discussion today is open for public opinion by sms only to +2348078681322, open to the world. Nigerians stand a chance to win recharge cards for the first 5 entries.
