Multiple dating? Absolutely not a decent attitude by an individual regardless of the gender. Some entrants to the question tried to ask the actual meaning of the word dating and I believe by now you know and understand the word based on the context of usage here, we are talking about meeting with the opposite sex actually. Meeting a friend of the opposite sex in a chat that is not relationship based is not dating in this context and is not abominable. However, when the meeting becomes too frequent with you both alone, it can be considered dating, and when this is done with more than one person of the opposite sex, it is called multiple dating.
Remember the major subject matter is titled, “is this love?” The subtopic right now is “discussion against multiple dating.” Ordinarily, a decent person should not engage himself or herself in multiple dating as people out there would only tag you as a flirt.
Multiple dating? Is this love? A young man will be seen going out with different ladies day in day out. Is this love? A young woman is seen hanging out in a place this week with a guy and in another place with a different guy, that is multiple dating and is an indecent attitude. Is this love?
Some school of thought will want to advice people to go dating different people to search and test for the best but I total disagree with that, true love is not obtained by multiple dating and hanging out, rather what is obtained is lust. Looking for a man or a woman to date such that your dating would lead to a relationship and eventual marriage? You don’t have to double date (or multiple date) repeatedly and show to everyone around that you are searching for a mate, that is indecent. More to this you could put your friendship or relationship in peril if your date get to discover your multiple dating. Be decent, save your friendship today and live it up to God to speak to you in your choice of a mate for a serious relationship and eventual marriage, do this in prayers. Be decent today.
