JOSHUA OSAGIE OSAYUWAMEN SPEAKS ON “SEE CHALLENGES AS PROMOTERS” –  PART 3.

Once again let me cease this opportunity to welcome you to this blog and warmly appreciate your time with me as we share thoughts together that will make us better. The topic of this series for now remains, “see challenges as promoters.” If you have not been following this series, you can take time out to browse through our last two posts.

Blog guests and friends, it’s so good to know that many of us are now convinced that life is incomplete without challenges and that challenges should be seen as events that eventually take us from one level to a higher one as we learn from them. Innumerable landmark discoveries in Life and Physical Sciences, Social Science, Humanities, Art, etc, came out of challenges. Many postulates that are now taken as laws were initially theses (theories supported by arguments), they were challenged at first but the challenges propelled the facilitators to carry out more research that brought about perfection. The perfection made their theses (theories) to become widely and globally accepted laws in their different fields of life.

Ladies and gentlemen, so many things we enjoy using today were discovered out of great challenges that could have discouraged the discoverers. However, they tenaciously went ahead to research more and developed processes to perfect them. Some discoverers could not see the end of their discoveries as they bowed to the law of life and death, others had to pick up from where they stopped to attain success, that is determination. From the motorcycle, automobile, aero-plane, electronics, etc, their inventions and discoveries were not easy rides, the success stories are incomplete without the challenges that were dealt with.

You can not be made a star without scars, no warrior can emerge without fighting in wars. You can not be promoted to another level in academic pursuit without writing exams and excel. Therefore, see challenges as promoters and not license to failure or inhibitors, brace yourself and stay focused. Sometimes you may need movement in the face of challenges to bring about improvement in your pursuit. Sometimes if you don’t move, you will be removed from the success pathway. Hello, get this now; great works and success are often achieved in the toughest period of challenges. Do not try to bypass challenges in your path to success. Get ready to succeed.

FRIENDS, NEVER FORGET THAT THE WISDOM AND COUNSEL OF GOD ARE VITAL KEYS TO OVERCOMING CHALLENGES. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO SEEK THE FACE OF GOD, ACKNOWLEDGE HIM IN ALL YOUR WAYS AND HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATH. WISDOM PROFITS MUCH – GOD’S WISDOM. YOUR STRENGTH CAN NOT DO IT, THE GRACE OF GOD CAN.

SEE CHALLENGES AS PROMOTERS.

From me Joshua is God bless you and see you soon on this platform for more words on marble.

Karl Marx

Karl Marx, along with Friedrich Engels, defined communism. Their most famous work was the Communist Manifesto (1848), in which they argued that the working class should rebel and build a Communist society.

TODAY FEATURES THE QUOTES OF KARL MARX (THE COMMUNISM CRUSADER AND PHILOSOPHER)

Capitalist production begets, with the inexorability of a law of nature, its own negation.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Das Kapital

The centralization of the means of production and the socialization of labor reach a point where they prove incompatible with their capitalist husk. This bursts asunder. The knell of private property sounds. The expropriators are expropriated.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Das Kapital

The materialist doctrine that men are products of circumstances and upbringing, and that, therefore, changed men are products of other circumstances and changed upbringing, forgets that it is men that change circumstances, and that the educator himself needs educating.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Theses on Feuerbach

The philosophers have only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Theses on Feuerbach

The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
The Communist Manifesto (co-written with Friedrich Engels)

The workers have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to gain. Workers of the world, unite.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Closing words.
The Communist Manifesto (co-written with Friedrich Engels)

In communist society...society regulates the general production and thus makes it possible for me to do one thing today and another tomorrow, to hunt in the morning, fish in the afternoon, rear cattle in the evening, criticize after dinner, just as I have a mind.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
The German Ideology

The sum total of these relations of production constitutes the economic structure of society—the real foundation, on which rise legal and political superstructures and to which correspond definite forms of social consciousness.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Critique of Political Economy

Hegel says somewhere that all great events and personalities in world history reappear in one fashion or another. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second as farce.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
The Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Napoleon

We set out from real, active men, and on the basis of their real life process we demonstrate the development of the ideological reflexes and echoes of this life process.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Referring to the methodology of historical materialism.
The German Ideology

What I did that was new was to prove ... that class struggle necessarily leads to the dictatorship of the proletariat.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Letter to Georg Weydemeyer

The devaluation of the world of men is in direct proportion to the increasing value of the world of things.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts

Money is the external, universal means and power (not derived from man as man nor from human society as society) to change representation into reality and reality into mere representation.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.

Money saves me the trouble of being dishonest; therefore, I am presumed honest.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.

From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Critique of the Gotha Programme

As soon as labor is distributed, each man has a particular, exclusive sphere of activity which is forced upon him and from which he cannot escape. He is a hunter, a fisherman, a shepherd, or a critic, and must remain so if he does not want to lose his means of livelihood.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
The German Ideology

The worker becomes an ever cheaper commodity the more commodities he creates.
Karl Marx (1818 - 1883)
German philosopher.
Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts

BATCH THREE CONTIBUTION FOR THE OPINION POLL QUESTION [Define trust (in your own simple sentence) in  relationship, friendship or marriage]
ü      Greg from US: Trust is a mindset based on understanding
ü      Sophia from Benin, Nigeria: Trust is defending a mate in the midst of accusation from a third party
ü      Dannny from Abuja, Nigeria: Trust goes with believe in each other
ü      Femi from Lagos , Nigeria: Trust is justification of true love
TRUST IN FRIENDSHIP, RELATIONSHIP OR MARRIAGE
 (With Joshua Osayuwamen Osagie).
TRUST - reliance, faith, belief, expectation, conviction, dependence, confidence, etc.
·         In a relationship, friendship or marriage do we still have faith or belief between mates? No doubts, a very key question that can determine how far or how well our friendship, relationship or marriage has gone.
·         Can you vouch for your friend when it comes to a circumstance that could be detrimental to you when you do? This is one very sensitive question you would not rush to answer. “To your detriment,” that is the salient statement there. I would say it depends on the extent of friendship and the purpose of having to vouch for your friend, spouse or mate. Difficult to think? It is possible.
·         Do we still have couples who trust themselves when it comes to financial issues? Money, money. Life is not all about money you know, so be careful how you behave when it comes to handling financial issues in your friendship, relationship or marriage. You could be tested by you mate or spouse which when you fail, then you could be tagged the financially indisciplined. Be careful with money
·         Is it possible for a mate to disclose private details like a terrible weakness such that one of them will not end up telling friends in the face of the slightest misunderstanding? It is very wrong to tell others about the weakness of your spouse, friend or mate probably because of a misunderstanding, very wrong. That is a big test of trust.
·           Has jealousy seriously taken its toll in relationships to the extent that a mate could be seriously suspicious when he/she sees his/her fiancée/fiancé with the opposite sex in a open one on one talk or chat? Trust is never suspicious. Integrity is key to seeping your trust. Trust is attitude dependent. Your attitude will determine the level of trust you can have for each other.
·         Do we still have dependable wives or husbands in the face of difficulty”  I think so many person have failed in this. Many get frustrated because of difficulty and lose their trust as a result.
·         Can a mate easily predict his/ her mate in an expectation? Can a man/woman confidently defend his/her wife/husband probably when she is accused? That is trust yet again demonstrated when the attitude factor has been tested over time.
·          Is it possible to believe a mate when it gets to financial demands? The money factor again – this is attitudinal as well.
·          IS THE WORD SACRIFICE MET FOR A PARTICULAR GENDER OR BOTH? CERTAINLY NOT FOR ONE PARTY. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE RECIPROCAL. YES! THAT IS TRUST IN RECIPROCAL FUNCTION.
THE END.
Participate in the new series. The opinion poll question is: What are the things (issues, material possession, secrets, etc) that should and should not be open to a mate, if any? Or is it advisable to be totally open to mate, friend or spouse? (Open from September through October).

>>ORBIT FEATURE 5> MIND BLOWING INVENTION OF THE MOTOR CYCLE (PART 1).

The invention of the motorcycle closely followed the development of the bicycle and the four-stroke gasoline engine. German inventor Gottlieb Daimler created the first motorcycle in 1885. He attached a four-stroke gasoline engine to a wooden bicycle frame and added two extra side wheels for stability, similar to training wheels on a bicycle. Daimler’s engine turned the rear wheel with a pulley.
Various models were introduced in Germany, France, and Britain in subsequent years, each attempting to turn the motorcycle into a practical means of transportation. In 1903 American inventor William Harley, his neighbor Arthur Davidson, and Davidson’s brothers Walter and William built the first Harley-Davidson motorcycle. A year later Harley-Davidson began manufacturing motorcycles for sale. In 1909 Harley-Davidson introduced the first V-Twin engine, which had two cylinders arranged in a distinctive “V” angle. The engine, which produced a deep, rumbling sound, soon became the classic American motorcycle engine.
By 1914 the basic layout of the modern motorcycle was established. This layout featured an engine located between the front and rear wheels and a chain to transfer power from the engine to the rear wheel. During World War I (1914-1918), motorcycles proved a reliable source of transportation for American and European military forces negotiating war-damaged roads and carrying communications to forward positions. Following the war, the use of motorcycles spread rapidly in Europe and the United States.
