JOSHUA OSAGIE OSAYUWAMEN WRITES ON “DEALING WITH CRITICISM,” PART 3
Joshua Osayuwamen Osagie (Blogger) |
Hello people! Once again you are welcome to my blog. Here, you are assured of unlimited access to captivating contents from wherever you are located across the globe with daily world news update to your local territory. Integrity remains my key message and you know too well is the essence of any successful thing in life.
Back to the
series, “dealing with criticism,” the need to remain focused amid criticism was emphatically dealt with
the last time out and today I will be brief in sharing my thought with you on five
more ways we can employ in dealing with criticism.
1) Never
hastily conclude on other people’s view(s) - good or bad, until proven beyond
doubt. Your view(s) or activities may require modification to perfection as a
result of criticism against them. Oh yes! Possible gains of criticism you can
call it.
2) Never
allow criticism to weigh you down or give you a sense of low self esteem, be
yourself and move on as if nothing is going wrong. Dare to protect your ego. Be
humble but not with low self esteem. Just hear them (the critics) out and work
on yourself.
3) Try to
carry everyone along and remain committed to your duties to everyone including
the critics. Your good works will as well speak for you and some day your
critics will see to reasons.
4) Ensure
you are still doing the right thing amid
destructive criticism, don’t get so discouraged to tamper with your
dignity or integrity.
5) Believe
in yourself. The world should not dissuade a man who knows so well that what he
is doing is universally right or in the path of making history for the right
reason, regardless of the fact that he may be standing a lone, all he requires is
to openly defend himself and lay out the idea(s) or view(s) and corroborate
it/them by way of providing evidence supporting his view(s) and disproving the
view(s) of his critics. So many landmark accomplishments once suffered global
condemnation but are now one of the definitions of the term, “International
Best Practice.” Oh come on, you and me can achieve a global feat.
We are not
done with this topic, see you soon for part 4 of the series, “dealing with
criticism.”
See you in
my next post soon. SHARE YOUR THOUGHT WITH ME ON MY PAGE http://www.facebook.com/joshuaosayuwamenosagie

A cat with a straw tail keeps away from fire
A bridle for the tongue is a necessary piece of furniture
A cash is not a catch
A candle lights others consumes itself
A good prayer will not object to leaving a deposit
A fool at forty is a fool indeed
A burnt child dreads the fire
A creaking door hangs longest
A friend to all is friend to none
A good conscience is a continual feast

KEEPING THINGS SECRET IN RELATIONSHIP OR MARRIAGE –IS IT ADVISABLE? (A Brief PT 2 With Joshua Osayuwamen Osagie)
Thank you so much for your contributions to the opinion poll questions for the past 2 years on this blog. Starting from the previous post, your contributions are now being published on the facebook page http://www.facebook.com/joshuaosayuwamenosagie (visit, like, view people’s post and opinions and get more inspiring posts with lots of rewards there).
Sequel to my previous post, we stopped at a juncture when a salient statement was made that some things are advisably not to be absolutely reserved from your mate (in friendship, relationship or marriage).
- Your weaknesses and limitations (health, finance, character, mannerism, etc). Your mate should know a little bit of your weaknesses, this could go a long way to strengthening your relationship, making you helpers to each other and understanding yourselves under different circumstances.
- Your potentials, strengths, goals and vision should also be made known to your mate to some extent. Your level of intimacy and understanding for each other should determine these.
In summary, it is not
advisable for secrecy to be practiced in a relationship or marriage but having
reserve is more advisable for trust, understanding and intimacy.

>>ORBIT FEATURE 5> LANDMARK DISCOVERIES: THE FIRST MOVE IN THE INVENTION
OF COMPUTERS AND COMPUTING.
The history of computing began with an analog machine. In 1623 German scientist Wilhelm Schikard invented a machine that used 11 complete and 6 incomplete sprocketed wheels that could add, and with the aid of logarithm tables, multiply and divide.
French philosopher, mathematician, and physicist Blaise Pascal invented a machine in 1642 that added and subtracted, automatically carrying and borrowing digits from column to column. Pascal built 50 copies of his machine, but most served as curiosities in parlors of the wealthy. Seventeenth-century German mathematician Gottfried Leibniz designed a special gearing system to enable multiplication on Pascal’s machine.
