Appreciation is one of the traits inherent in the human feature. This is traceable to our creator. Appreciating the little things your wife do makes her happy and induces her to do more. Reciprocate her smiles with yours. If she gives you a cold drink or food at home, vocalize some interesting words such as, “thank you”, or “I love you”. “You have made me feel different.” You can be sure that the wife will always look forward to your coming home after the day’s work.
SHE IS YOUR NEXT OF KIN
This is an issue that normally generates a lot of arguments on either side. The ideal thing in a monogamous home is for the wife to be the next of kin and vice versa. Where this is not practiced, the reasons are based on lack of trust, infidelity, accumulation of wives, family influence and ignorance. It is high time we corrected the idea of driving the widow out of her matrimonial home simply because the house is given to a relation. The wife and husband had laboured together; there should be no external forces to separate their property.
